I get a lot of questions about guilds, having
been a Guild leader myself. I also was an advisor
to other guilds on how to use the guild functions
in this game. This guide is for all new Guild
leaders who have questions but can't find answers.
Creating a Guild
To create a guild you must complete the following:
1. You must be lvl 90 or more.
2. You must have 1 million silvers.
To create a guild, go to the Guild Director in
TC. He is standing next to the job center. He
will ask you to name your guild. This name can
be no longer than 15 characters. Tip: Make
sure ahead of time that your name is under 15
characters. If you type in a guild name longer
than that, it will cut off the name.
Example
Desired Name: MySuperCoolGuildName
Name that Director will give you: MySuperCoolGuil
You will be made the guild leader. Now you must
go and recruit new members. When you find someone
who wishes to join, they must click the Guild
button along the bottom of the screen. The Guild
Window will appear. Next they click the Join
button in the Guild window. The cursor will change
to crossing swords. Next they click on you.
A warning will appear about donating 20,000 silvers
to the guild. This is because in order to leave
the guild, they must have a contribution of 20,000
or more. They can see their contribution in the
guild window. When you are pked, your contribution
will go down. As you attack the pole in Guild
War your contribution will go up.
To kick a member from your guild, you simply
open the Guild Window, click the Expel button,
choose the member, click delete, and then choose
OK.
Guild Fund
What is the guild fund for? This is a question
I hear many times over. The guild fund is used
for many purposes.
1. At Guild War the fund is used to repair the
door and the pole if your guild is in possession
of the pole.
2. The guild fund is used to offset the amount
of XP you lose if you are pked.
3. The guild fund is used to make branches.
Everything you need to know about Guild War is
posted here
http://www.conqueronline.com/guide/bpbs.htm
At the bottom is the important part for most
guilds.
Max lost experience offset
Guild Leader 80%
Deputy Guild Leader 60%
Branch Manager 40%
Guild Members 25%
When a guild member is pked the guild fun will
offset 25% of the lost xp by taking 1 silver
for every 100 experience offset. This will reduce
their contribution by 1 point. This is how some
members will have negative contributions to the
guild.
How do you add money to the guild fund? The easiest
way is for members to donate. To donate, simply
open the Guild Window and choose donate, then
type an amount of money and click Ok. The second
way is to win Guild War. Your guild gets money
for damage done to the pole. Also, the guild
who wins guild war gains the following:
1. Free admission to the Training grounds for
all guild members.
2. The 1000 silvers spent to use the guild conductress
goes into the guild fund.
3. The guild may place the guild conductresses
anywhere they choose.
4. The guild gains control of the guild castle
and the right to guild beast (this is not
enforced but on most servers it is followed)
Deputy Leaders
A deputy leader is a person put into a position
of leadership by the Guild Leader. A dep, as
they are called, has only the ability to add
members to the guild. Only the guild leader can
kick a member. To assign a dep, you need to go
to the Guild Director. The person must be in
the guild to become a dep. You choose the option
to Assign a deputy leader and then type in that
person's name exactly as it appears. You may
only have 5 deputy leaders.
To remove a dep, the person must be online and
it is a similar process to adding the deputy
leader. If you must remove a deputy leader who
is never online, or not online at the time, you
either must wait for them to log in, or kick
them from the guild.
Branches
Ah, the famed topic of branches. I have advised
many on this issue. The one thing to remember
about a branch is to think of it as a seperate
guild where you, as the GL pick the leader and
you share guild chat. If you can maintain the
idea that the two are seperate yet joined by
the chat, you will understand them more easily.
I will start off by telling you the benefits
of a Branch.
1. With a branch, you can have 5 more people
in leadership positions.
2. With a branch you can split up the population
of the guild into 2 factions that are still united
under 1 name.
3. The Branch shares the Guild Chat with the
Main Guild
The cons of Branches
1. The Main Guild cannot see members in the branch.
Nor can branch members see those in the main
guild
2. The Guild Leader cannot kick members in the
branch.
3. In the guild window you will see a sum of
members for all branches and main guild. However,
the Top 10 will only count those members in the
Main Guild.
4. The Guild Leader picks the branch manager
once. After that, the Branch Manager must pass
leadership or disband the branch. The Guild Leader
has no control over this.
5. In Guild War, branch deps and the branch manager
cannot open the gates.
To create a branch:
1. The guild must have a guild fund of 500k.
2. The main guild must have at least 20 members.
3. The person to lead the branch must be level
70.
4. The Guild Leader and the person to be placed
as branch manager must team together. (Only the
2 of them)
5. The guild leader uses the Guild Director to
create Branch.
6. Choose the branch name. This can be no more
than 6 characters. Unlike the guild name, it
will display an error message if the name is
longer than 6 characters.
7. 500k will be transferred out of the guild
fund and into the branch fund and the person
in team will be made the Branch manager.
At this point, the Guild Leader has no control
over the branch.
Branch Manager
The branch manager is like a Guild Leader, only
they are the guild leader of a guild that resides
inside a guild. Unfortunately, the Expel feature
offered to the guild leader is not offered to
the Branch Manager. To kick members from the
branch, the Branch Manager must instead use the
Guild Director.
A Branch manager can have 5 Branch Deputy leaders,
which are called Deputy Managers. Much like a
regular guild, the person to be made Deputy Managers
must be in the Branch. The process is the same
as assigning a deputy leader.
The Branch Manager can transfer the branch funds
to the Main Guild to help with Guild War, etc
by using the Guild Director.
More will be added as I see items that I missed.

What are 'disguises'?
Disguises are skills that allow you to transform
into a certain 'monster' with certain attributes
for a limited time.
Which are they?
For Trojan
- Robot:
Trojans can learn Robot in level 40. Robots
have 50000 (50k) HP, however, theyr attack
and defense is not completely great. Robots
are not very good in PvP either, because
they are slow. They can be good for Tanking
or maybe a bit of surviving, it can also
hold you on for a bit longer while being
owned by a taoist or another enemy .
You can learn Trojan in the Job Promotion
Center from Trojan Star.
Note, the picture linked before is not really
how the Trojan Robot disguise looks like,
but that is the monster it disguises at.
The disguise looks more like a robot than
a monster
For Water Taoists
- Water
Elf: Water Taoists can learn
Water Elf at level 50. Theyr HP ranges
from around 1k of elementary WaterElf
to 2k with fixed WaterElf. They are quite
powerful against Taoists and possibly
archers, however theyr defense and magic
defense is not very good. You're going
to have to be quick to get a KO with
this one.
WaterElf is learned at the Job Promotion
Centre, tought by Taoist Moon.
- Divine
Hare: Divine Hare is great
for traveling. Theyr jumping speed is
amazingly fast, once you try it out you'll
see what I'm talking about. Water Taoists
are able to learn DivineHare by level
54. Divine Hare has 3k HP (3000). They're
defense is good and their magic defence
is awesome. Divine Hare might work to
run away from a PKer, traveling, standing
a chance against some strong monsters,
etc.
Divine Hare scrolls are sold in the Market's
pharmacist for 50,000 silvers.
For All Classes
- Night
Devil: The rarest of all
disguises. NightDevil scrolls are only
found by killing Poltergeists in Central
Plain, and their drop rate is very rare
. Level 70 is required to learn.
Night Devil has high magic defense, and its
plainly awesome to kill Taoists with them,
since they have good attack against them,
and outstanding range. NightDevil, however,
is terrible against melee classes, because
you'll get your ass whooped .
However, NightDevil scrolls cost alot of
money, so having a NightDevil will make people
turn their heads and talk to you

Advantages:
1. Highest stamina; they have the most hp of all classes.
2. Spirit Healing greatly lessens use of pots.
3. Ability to use two weapons which can:
. a. Increase damage by 50% of your second weapon and
hit-rate.
. b. Two different weapons = Two different passive
skills during combat.
. c. Two weapons of the same type allow the usage of
Hercules.
4. Cyclone is a huge advantage in PvP, as well as an
excellent ability for farming with a friend. (You kill
all the monsters while your friend picks up all the
drops.)
Disadvantages:
1. Hard to level up.
2. Low armour comparing to warriors, slow down your
training process due to rest for Spirit Healing.
3. Trojan equipments are popular = more expensive.
Before you start, you should have in mind what type
of weapon you want to use.
One-Handed
One-handed weapons allow you to use Hercules if you
use weapons of the same type. Trojans have bonus damage,
hit-rate, and faster attack speed when using two weapons.
As well, your weapon durability basically adds up so
you can use them longer.
Club -High damage, low dex
-Skill: Rage
-Sold: Phoenix Castle and Tiger Cave (Waterfall Cave)
Club is the most popular weapon for Trojans. Why? Rage.
Rage is a passive skill that does bonus damage to all
monsters near you. As you might not know, your exp
is given according to the amount of damage you deal,
so more damage = more exp. Rage is also great for PvP;
however, since clubs are so popular, it is very hard
to get a good club in the game.
Sword -medium dex, medium damage.
-Skill: Phoenix and Scent Sword
-Sold: Twin City (level 5 ?70), Desert City (level
75 -80)
Sword is a popular weapon second only to clubs. Phoenix
does bonus damage and is one of the hardest skills
to level up. When Phoenix is at its highest level (fixed),
it will do damage to all monsters near you like Rage.
Scent Sword is an activated skill which drains your
stamina. Scent Sword does damage to enemies in a line.
Blade -Medium dex, high damage.
-Skill: Fast Blade
-Sold: Twin City
A lot of people stick to blades because it抯 the
first weapon given when you start playing Conquer.
Fast Blade is the same as Scent Sword, but is more
powerful than Scent Sword since blades do more damage.
However, blades lack a passive skill, so in the long
run if you are using double blades, you will start
lacking in combat damage.
Axe/Hammer -High damage, low dex.
-Skills: Earthquake/Boom
-Sold: Axe- Tiger Cave (Waterfall Cave), Hammer- Ape
Mountain
Axe and hammer are the exact same weapons except their
appearance are different. Their passive skill is quiet
unique as it does no damage but stuns the opponent
for a short period of time. Axes and hammers reduce
the amount of damage you take and prolong your armour抯 durability.
Dagger -Low damage, high dex
-Skill: Penetration
-Sold: Ape Mountain
Daggers have the highest hit-rate of all weapons. They
attack faster than other weapons, and you can actually
feel it attack faster if you switch between axes and
axe/dagger. Daggers are most efficient when combined
with a high damage, low dex weapon such as axe/hammer/club.
The down side is that Penetration is the hardest skill
to level (even harder than phoenix). However, it deals
the most damage bonus, up to 240% of your original
damage!!
Whip -Medium damage, medium dex.
-Skill: Roamer
-Sold: Bird Island
Whip抯 skill damages an area of 180 degrees in
front of you. They are not very popular due to that
clubs are so much more efficient. I have never tried
whips out, if you like being unique, try them out.
Hook
-Skill: Seizer
-Sold: Hook ?Desert City
Seizer is a bit easier to level than dagger's penetration.
Sacrificing some dex for more damage.
Scepter
-Skill: Celestial
-Sold: Scepter ?Bird Island
Same concept as hook. Celestial is a bit easier to
level than penetration as well.
Two-handed weapons
Two-handed weapons attack slower than one-hand weapons.
They compensate their slow attack rate and size with
higher damage and better passive skills. When using
two-handed weapons, you cannot use Hercules. From my
experience, two-handed weapons are cheaper to upgrade.
However, using two-handed weapons also mean you are
only using one weapon (duh!), which only allows a maximum
of two sockets on your weapon.
Long Sword (aka. Glaives) -Medium damage, medium
dex
-Skill: Wide Strike
-Sold: Phoenix Castle
Glaives are perhaps, the most balances weapon out there,
although I argue that all weapons are equal if not
for the skill difference making Penetration and Phoenix
harder to level up. Wide Strike damages monsters 180
degrees in front of you, it is incredibly useful for
levelling.
Poleaxe/Long Hammer -High damage, low dex.
-Skill: Boreas/Halt
-Sold: Poleaxe ?Stone Village, Long Hammer ?Monster
Drop
Poleaxes and Long Hammers are very popular for 2-handed
weapons due to its high damage. Boreas and Halt are
the same as Wide Strike, however they are better because
poleaxes does more damage than glaives.
Halberd -Medium damage, medium dex.
-Skill: Stranded Monster
-Sold: Stone Village (NE of Desert City)
Stranded Monster is the same as Wide Strike, Boreas
and Halt except its damage bonus is lower and activation
chance is higher. It looks pretty cool when swung around
in combat.
Wand -Medium damage, medium dex
-Skill: Snow
-Sold: Monster Drop
Wand is another popular 2-handed weapon. Snow is the
same as Fury; it deals damage to everything near you.
However, the range of snow goes out further at higher
levels so you can damage opponents further away.
Spear -Medium damage, medium dex
-Skill: Speed Gun
-Sold: Desert City
Spear抯 skill is quiet interesting, it has the
most damage bonus comparing to other 2-handed weapons
(210% damage!), and it has the highest activation rate
(47%). However, Speed Gun only damage monsters in a
straight line and the monsters have to be aligned perfectly.
It is the best weapon for doing damage 1 vs. 1.
Although it抯 your choice, I suggest you use
one of the following combinations for one-handed weapons:
Club + Anything
Sword + Anything
Axe/Hammer + Dagger
Try not to go Sword + Blade as both weapons use stamina
skills and you do not have enough stamina to support
both skills efficiently?Fast Blade and Scent Sword
are the same. I am against Blade + Blade because of
lack for a passive skill, which is crucial in combat.
And remember, if you want to use Hercules, you HAVE
to use two weapons of the same type.
For training, follow the tips given in the game
as to what monster you should be fighting and when
to get better equipments.
At level 15, go get your class promotion in
Twin City and you will receive XP skills Accuracy and
Cyclone.
-Accuracy increases your hit rate by 300%
-Cyclone greatly boosts your attack speed.
XP skill activates when the golden circle around your
life bar fills up.
Accuracy is a better XP skill for you to use since
it lasts 2 minutes and help you hit your monsters,
which will increase damage and exp gained.
Before level 40, levelling is hectic as you
are basically a warrior without Superman or Shield.
It is best to go into a party and level together. You
can also get a higher level player (level 70+) to power
level you. Basically, just follow him/her around and
eat free exp. I am, however, against doing this for
all 40 levels as you will need to level weapon proficiency
up and find rare items from your OWN kills to sell
for cash.
After level 40, you will become a veteran Trojan
in Twin City and receive Hercules, Spirit Healing,
XP skill Robot and the ability to learn weapon skills.
Both Spirit Healing and Hercules use your stamina,
which is the blue bar between the HP bars.
-Spirit Healing costs all your stamina to heal your
HP.
-Hercules does area-effect damage at the cost of 1/3
of your stamina.
To regain stamina, just sit down. Now, you should have
saved at least 100k gold. If not, go out and start
earning money by either killing monsters or mining.
Go to the market and buy the skill that supports your
weapon. You can now use two weapons, so if you choose
to use two different weapons, you should also buy your
second skill.
The XP skill Robot turns you into a giant robot with
50k hp. You deal a bit more damage however you hit
rate is quiet low. For me, it is a useful skill because
when Robot ends, HP fills up. However, people argue
that Robot slows training down due to slow movement
and bad hit rate. Decide if you want to level Robot
up, levelling takes hard work. If you are not, keep
using accuracy.
Now there are a few different paths for Trojans.
If you are using club or a wide range 2-handed weapon
such as poleaxe, glaive or wand, kill white level monsters
until they are green. Rage will help you level greatly
and you should concentrate on upgrading your armour
so you can stand in the middle of monsters without
dying.
If you are using an axe/hammer and a high dex weapon
such as dagger, go ahead and take on red level mobs.
Stun will keep the monster from hurting you too much
and the high hit-rate will help stun reach its max
efficiency by scoring all your hits. Upgrade your weapons
so you can kill faster.
If you are not using a weapon with any area-effect
such as sword or spear, you will want to take on white
monsters one at a time, levelling will be harder. Keep
a balanced upgrade between weapons and armour since
you will be taking damage the same time you are dealing
damage.
Note: Snakeman will be a hard set of monsters for you
to train on since your do not receive new armour until
level 70. Bring a warrior or water tao to help you.
You can also have someone tank you at sandman.
