The seventh day of the seventh lunar month on the Chinese calendar is the traditional Chinese festival, Qi Xi, also known as Chinese Valentine's Day or Magpie Festival. The festival stems from a romantic tragedy about the 7th daughter of the Emperor of Heaven and an orphaned cowherder. These 2 lovers were separated by the Emperor. The 7th daughter was forced to move to the star Vega and the cowherder moved to the star Altair. They are allowed to meet only once a year through a bridge across the Milky Way formed by magpies on the day of 7th day of 7th lunar month.

This year, Qi Xi will fall on the 7th of August. To celebrate this traditional festival, we will provide our players a cultural introduction about this oriental version of Romeo and Juliet. Meanwhile, players can take part in the Qi Xi special quest in the game between Aug 6th and Aug 11th. In the quest, players will experience a great romantic story and help the NPCs, or even yourselves find true love.
