Conquer - Dragon Gems Vs. Rainbow Gems

Ok I made this guide to straighten out the facts of dragon/phoenix gems and rainbow gems, since a lotta times people get confused.

Rainbow Gem?s - Rainbow gem?s increase the total killing experience you get from monsters.

1.  Rainbow gems increase killing exp in this order - normal - 10%, refined - 15% super - 25%

2. What is killing experience? - Killing experience is the extra exp that u get from killing a monster. An example is if you kill a macaque, at the top left screen of your CO it?ll say in red words how much exp you get from the kill.

3. How do rainbow gems give extra exp? - Rainbow gems give extra exp based on how much killing experiences you get.  For example, if you kill a sand monster and you get 800 killing exp, and you have 2 normal rainbow gems (20% extra killing exp) then you?ll get 20% of that 800, which would be 160 exp, so in total you would get 960 exp from killing the sand monster.

4.  Rainbow gems can give extra weapon experience, only slightly and only when you kill a monster.  Stick to violet gems if you want to level weapon proficiency because the increase is so little that you will barely notice it.  (For the flamers, I HAVE TESTED THIS AND THERE IS A SLIGHT INCREASE OF EXTRA WEAPON EXP!!)

5.  Do Rainbow gems help in any other way? - Actually, Rainbow gems also give extra experience when your getting plvled/in a team.  When you get plvled the experience you get is some of the killing experience from the monster that was killed, so rainbow gems work this way too.

Dragon/Phoenix Gem?s - These increase the attack/magic attack that is dealt when you attack something.

1. Both of these gems increase attack % in this order - Normal 5% - Refined 10% - Super 15%

2.  Why would I use a dragon/phoenix gem? - This is what people get confused on. Even though most people say that rainbow gems give the most experience, this is not entirely true :).  Pretend you had a Trojan with a super dragon gem in his weapon, and you had a friend that had a super rainbow gem in his weapon.  You both go out leveling at white names, because you have the extra 15% damage you kill monsters faster, thus you get more experience, while it takes your friend much longer to kill the monster because the rainbow gem doesn?t have the attack increase, so by the time your friend kills the monster and gets the extra 25% killing experience, you?ll be about done with your second monster.   Thus, you get more experience by killing more monsters.

3.  Do dragon/phoenix gems have advantages besides attack increase? - Because of the attack increase you?ll get weapon/magic experience faster by being able to kill monsters faster.

4.  The best reason to equip dragon/phoenix gems is - so you can kill other players faster. Plain and simple. :)

Ending notes - In the end, the dragon/phoenix gems are the ones that shine, though they are slightly more costly.  If your into farming a character, then it?d be good to equip the character that your farming with rainbow gems as they get more team experience, but if your not doing this then dragon/phoenix gems are the ones you should be looking for.  I am on the Pluto server and my characters are: xxxkilikxxx, mage?, and we_takin_over whisper me if ya like this article! Have fun guys =P
